Focus 2025-2026: A Unified Experience

Due to the shifting landscape and the challenges with our beta client (also known as the Unity client or the Modern client), we have switched our focus from Habbo X development to bring Habbo Collectibles to Habbo. This aims to create a unified experience with a much larger player base! Our vision is to create a seamless, intuitive, and rewarding in-game ecosystem for your entire collection. All Habbo Collectible items are usable in Habbo. If you own one, you can use it in the Hotel. This currently excludes Habbo X Rooms but we are looking at ways we can give them some utility in Habbo also.

The Collector's Core Loop

We are designing a rewarding "core loop" for collectors. This means the more you collect and the higher your Collector Level becomes, the more valuable and exclusive the rewards you'll earn will be.

Your dedication to collecting will be directly recognised with better monthly rewards, exclusive items, and better chances of buying limited edition Collectibles, making your collection a dynamic and growing part of your Habbo identity.

Accomplished Milestones

We've been hard at work since the launch of Habbo Avatars in September 2021, laying the foundation for true item ownership in Habbo. We have released several features for our collectors and given our ecosystem an unprecedented amount of value. Here's a look at some key features we've already delivered:

Collectibles launch and Habbo integration

Initial release of Habbo Collectibles with Habbo in-game integrations, enabling all Collectibles be used in the Hotel.

Crafting & Relics System

Introduced the ability to craft new items and convert Habbo items into Relics. This gives new life to millions of Habbo items by giving everyone the option to move their old furni to the Immutable blockchain and monetise their Habbo items.

Collector Level & Rewards

Implemented the Collector Level system and initial reward distribution mechanisms. Collectors now get exclusive monthly rewards based on their level.

Collectibles trading

Everyone in Habbo can trade their items for Collectibles in Habbo. This also enables Collectible -> Collectible trading.

Emeralds & Furni Creation

Premium Collectibles generate their owners daily Emeralds that are used for purchasing and creating exclusive Collectibles.

Collectibles Factories

Clothing Factories and Furni Factories generate exclusive Collectibles for their owners on a monthly basis.

Collecti-Matic

Recycle your excess Collectibles in the Collecti-Matic to gain new and exclusive items.

Emeralds in Habbo

You can buy new Collectibles with Emeralds inside the game. You can also burn and create Emerald furni inside Habbo.

Next UpExpanding Functionality
Outfit creation

We want collectors to be able to create and sell outfits using the clothing Collectibles they already own. And by “sell,” we mean for ETH on TokenTrove and other Immutable marketplaces. This feature is still in the very early design phase, and we'll be gathering feedback and input from the community before finalising how it will work.

Metamask support in Habbo

As part of the upcoming zkEVM switch we're making, we're looking into the option of using Metamask wallets inside Habbo. Players would be able to trade from their Metamask wallets, but transaction signing would happen on web.

Collectibles Marketplace

In-game marketplace enabling players to buy and sell Collectibles in Habbo.

Complete Emerald Integration

All Emerald functions: buying items, crafting, creating and burning furni will be available in-game.

Website Feature Parity

Our ultimate goal: every feature from collectibles.habbo.com will be integrated into Habbo.

Economy update

Simplify the economy: We want to simplify the Collectibles economy and find a way to make it simpler for both new and old collectors. Most NFT projects that were released when we did have done at least one economy revamp, and at some point we will need to do the same. This is most likely something for 2026 or even later, though.
